Great Amplifier

I bought this item about 18 month ago along with a Squier CAR Precision Standard Special Bass and some other accessories and for a nice price of 199 Euro. The amplifier simulations of this modelling combo are really great and the possibilities of sound modifications seem to be almost unlimited thanks to the Fuse software. It also offers a USB-audio interface. The 40 Watts are enough for practice, the living room and even some smaller gigs. Combined with a PA and the XLR-output everything else is possible too. It has only one drawback: The Fuse Software needs a display of 1024 x 768 pixels - a small convenient netbook offers only 1024 x 600 max. So Fuse is not for netbooks. And there is no Ipad/Iphone app wich would really be an overwhelming, perfect, mobile solution.

Good Amp, not very durable

I got this amp as a christmas present two years ago, and it sounded amazing. I still do love the way it sounds, and the effects options/ 8 different amp settings are very cool. My only issue is the lack of durabilty, it's not built to last. After only 3 months the speaker blew, and the headphone jack has come off, and stopped working. I did get it fixed from a friend of mine, and replaced the speaker with the warranty still in effect. So now that it's fixed it sounds as good as it did before. Also, if you're playing with headphones, I'd highly recommend the Sennheiser RS-180. They sound amazing plugged into this amp!

Excellent Practice & recording Amp.

I've had the Bronco 40 for a couple of months now & I have to say I've yet to have a dull moment as this amp is a blast. You get 3 banks (Red, Orange & Green) & 8 amp models, & an on board tuner, a compressor & lots of effects.

This amp keeps you busy & it keeps you creative. Then there's Fender Fuse & Fender Ampli tube ... hook the Bronco 40 to your computer through the USB port with the provided cable & (as they say) this is where the fun begins.

I bought this amp to use as a practice amp, & to occasionally record ideas & riffs, and I really enjoy using Fender Fuse.

The Bronco 40 also has an XLR jack in the back of this amp so you could run it through a PA & use it for small intimate gigs or use it as a monitor, the aux & headphone jacks come in handy too. I think Fender hit a Home run with the Bronco 40.

Compact & easy to use, carry around. Use for jamming or private practice in your room. The Bronco 40 is a great little amp with a lot to offer.

Pleasantly Suprised

This is the first modeling bass amp I have owned. The bronco40 is quiet a surprise with its affects and amp models. It is very easy to understand and operate. This is not rocket science! Being able to use fender fuse software with the bronco40 is a big plus. It allows you to set your own presets and tweak them any time, any where. Each amp model has its own unique sound, and if you can understand what an eq does, what gain, bass, mid, and treble means, it should be a piece of cake. The effects are very easy to adjust, especially with the fender fuse software. I only wish there were more effects. This is a blast to play through and should be interesting to record with. Only 40watts, might want to line in if you plan to perform.
