Through his own SortedNoise Music Network production company, Sugarland guitarist Thad Beaty has writing, performing and production credits on records surpassing 7 million in sales, including Grammy-nominated records and individually nominated songs.
Originally from Jackson, Miss., Beaty now lives in Nashville, Tenn., where he has pursued a career as a writer, performer and producer. He has many Billboard-charting writing credits; highlights include cuts for Little Big Town’s platinum-selling The Road to Here, four-month top-ten hit "I Could" for Kimberly Locke, and number-one 1999 Christian hit “Here With Me” for Plumb.
Beaty currently tours as guitarist with multiplatinum-selling country act Sugarland. His extensive touring credits also include stints with Plumb, Avalon, Little Big Town, Jimmy Wayne and Chely Wright. Tour highlights include performing with Beyonce’ Knowles at the American Music Awards, appearances on dozens of other award shows and several appearances on the Tonight Show.
Beaty's aforementioned production company, SortedNoise Music Network, consists of a web of interconnected industry professionals built around the two-man production and publishing team of Beaty and partner Jason Collum. The network includes artists, musicians, A&R personnel, managers, publishers, lawyers, photographers, publicists, marketers and music supervisors reaching every facet of the music industry.
