Just bought this amp, and man, it is pretty good. It took me a while to figure out how to record via USB - it can be really difficult to a beginner, and you can't do much about the USB latecy which can be annoying, too. Actually you can buy a new soundcard, or whatever.
I mostly play alternative rock, post grunge - Foo Fighters. With the factory presets, you can't really nail the sound. You need to edit, or download one with FUSE. It also takes some time, and it won't sound perfect with USB recording, but it will sounds pretty good live. I would recommend it, mostly for practice, for a guy who plays guitar in a garage band, and maybe for little gigs, too, but definitely not really for serious recording - however, you can record a nice cover with it.

This little amp may very well be the best 110.00 I ever spent on guitar equip. Perhaps I can't rock a huge stadium or get the most sublime tube tones, but this thing is remarkably versatile and an incredible value.

Bought this to replace a Line 6 Spider iv 75 Watt which was more power than I need and far too complex for simply playing around in the house. The Mustang by comparison is much leaner and easier to use but don't be fooled. The lower output does not detract from the available tones (which are many) and makes even a cheap guitar sound professional (my playing not included). The Fuse software gives you the choice to add and dial in so many variations that there shouldn't be a tone you can't get near to, if you're seeking the Holy Grail ;>) For a Practice amp, and that's what it is, you could not find better. Easy to use, classic tones, upgradeable, great value and of course with the reliability of the maker, Fender. One of my better buys.

Figuring out the features of this amp took a little time, but once I found a few sounds I liked, I just stuck to those. For low volumes AKA practicing, this can't be beat. I would never gig with it, of course, but that's not really what its built for. My only complaint is that there's almost too much to play with inf terms of tones. A little overwhelming.

I have the first version of this amp. It is an excellent practice amp. It can get quite loud. The sounds are unlimited once you learn the Fender Fuse system. The community of users constantly post new settings you can download. Price-wise, it is hard to beat.

I love this amp. It takes some learning to sorta understand how all the variable controls work. The controls are not as self explanatory as you would like.
The built in tuner is excellent and super handy. The free Fender Fuse is also hard to understand but some practice gets the job done.
I bought mine cheaper from Amazon than from a guitar store ($109). This amp is a monster for the price...BUY IT SOON!!!!
