'65 Princeton® Reverb

Model : 217200
1,299.99MSRP
The original was a historically significant amp used on countless hits over the years, and the reissue ’65 Princeton® Reverb is easily versatile enough to go from the living room to the recording studio to the small gig. It has the vintage vibe that Fender® die-hards know and love, but the 12-watt ’65 Princeton Reverb isn’t only for those who played them 30 or 40 years ago - it’s for anybody who demands top-notch tube tone, naturally dynamic clean and overdriven tones, and unmistakable long-spring Fender reverb and tube vibrato.

My first tube amp and I still love that tube reverb tone. If you've got some room to make some noise I'd go for the Deluxe Reverb instead though.

This is my all time favorite amp. I used to own an original silverface Princeton Reverb as a kid. I like this reissue better. The only problem is, the speaker is shrill and harsh. I eventually changed the speaker in mine to an Eminence Delta Demon and now it's perfect. Great tone. Great reverb. Great tremolo.

As a Fender amp junkie, and the owner of an original 66' Princeton, I was curious to see how the reissue stacked up to an original.
I can honestly say, when I a/b'd mine with the RI, I was very impressed with the 65 Princeton Reverb..very close to the real deal, and a heck of a lot cheaper than an original..if you can find one of course!...nice job Fender!
