I got this last December, and it has done a great job for me. It's easy to transport. An easy rig for getting in and out of venues. It has great features, and it's loud enough to handle most venues - though I often have it miced.
If you want a combo amp with plenty of options that you can zip around town with, this is a very good one. The sound has not disappointed me. Go for it!
I also play guitar but wanted to learn bass. The salesman at my store offered me this amp. So far I am very pleased, and to those who want a fuzzy sound you do not need to buy a pedal, there is a nice little white button you need to press and voilà.

I was in need of a decent, reliable bass amp for club gigs, but I had a limited budget. Being a massive fan of Fender, and researching several reviews, which seemed positive, I went out and bought this amp on reputation alone. The price was a nice deal, also. My past experience with Fender products have been rather good and needless to say, this time I was not disappointed.
The sound is classic Fender quality: clean and full. It can also get quite loud, if need be. The controls include: An overdrive with blend, if you like it dirty sounding; A tweeter with an on and off switch; A simple parametric equalizer; Low boost and mid scoop buttons; Effects send and return inputs; Also, a foot switch and headphone jacks. Another thing it has is a DI output that is rather handy, if you need to go into a PA board, or to record with. I feel that it has everything you really need for a large bass amp.
I find it very easy to operate, and with the side handles, I found it wasn't bad at all to carry. It also has casters, so you can roll it around the room without picking it up. If you are used to lugging heavy amps and cabs, this is a nice break. It shouldn't be too difficult to fit it the backseat of a car, as well.
I'll say Fender really did their homework in designing this amplifier. I can't help but to admire it, even when I'm not playing through it. It's a real nice piece of gear. I'm quite happy with it.
